Introductory Days

On the Intro Day you will be given a short talk about what is Advanced Driving followed by a drive to let you see it in action.

At the end you will have the option to signup to the following course. Please note that you are under no obligation to go on the course, if you decide not too.

Course Types

The January course consists of eight 30 minute theory sessions followed by a 60 minute drive. The April and August courses differ slightly in that it is a condensed course consisting of three 120 minute theory sessions. A 60 minute drive is then arranged at a time convenient to you and your observer. These courses give the added advantage in that it is more flexible if you can't make sunday afternoons.

All drive sessions are carried out on a one-to-one basis with you and your Observer.

Flexi-Course

We recognise that for some individuals, including shift workers or those with unusual working hours, the course is not a viable option.

We have a small number of Observers who for similar reasons cannot commit to courses and it is possible in a limited number of cases to match these Observers with appropriate Associate Members.

You are still required to attend an Intro Day. Due to the lack of Theory sessions this route normally takes longer than the eight sessions.
