The Edinburgh & District Group runs three courses for car drivers each year, starting in January, April and August.
The courses are based in West Edinburgh. The benefit of a course is that you are able to share the experience with others and watch video presentaions. For further details, please Contact us.
On the Introductory Day you will be given a short talk about what is Advanced Driving followed by a drive to let you see it in action.
At the end you will have the option to signup to the following course. Please note that you are under no obligation to go on the course, if you decide not too.
The Assessment Days are held in Ratho near the end of the course and give you an experience into what your test will be like.
It is conducted by a different observer than you usually have to give you an experience of someone else. After your drive you will be given feedback on how you have done and anything you can improve on.
The courses consists of three 120 minute theory sessions. A 60 minute drive is then arranged at a time convenient to you and your observer.
All drive sessions are carried out on a one-to-one basis with you and your Observer.
